In early 12th-century Da Chu, war looms as the Imperial court is rife with corruption. After the cruel Emperor kills Empress Yao Mo Xin, her vengeful spirit enters her younger sister, Yao Mo Wan’s body. Seeking revenge, the Empress uses her newfound form to infiltrate the court. There, she crosses paths with Ye Jun Qing, a young prince, and together they uncover the depth of corruption. As their bond grows, the Empress vows to help Ye Jun Qing dethrone the evil Emperor, using her intelligence and wit to bring justice and restore balance to the throne.
